These are oil paintings currently on display at Gemäldegalerie, Berlin and a smaller one at Alte Pinakothek in Munich. In the Berlin work, the hooded chef is standing holding a poker in the oven, which in the present painting is seen on the table. Both the Berlin painting and the present painting include an oven, a fish dish, and a simple hook system over which the deadly game is hung.
